Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in the Flow Cytometry & Bone Marrow Lab, your responsibilities will include:
• Performing Flow Cytometry clinical laboratory tests
• Preparing laboratory reagents
• Performing quality control and calibration on test systems
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing laboratory equipment
• Processing patient specimens
• Performing data entry and maintaining accurate laboratory records
In addition to a competitive salary range, this position is also eligible for shift differentials.
Salary Range: $59.37 - $79.11/hour
Job Qualifications

• Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license (CLS).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Prior CLS experience in Flow Cytometry preferred
• Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
Current/former UC employees are subject to a personnel file review.
