Job Title: Database Administrator 2 (DBA)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in enterprise database administration, data warehousing, ETL, and performance tuning. The candidate will be responsible for database design, maintenance, security, backup/recovery, migration support, and data warehouse optimization.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of DBA experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or similar DBMS
  • 5+ years of Data Warehousing/Data Mart experience
  • Strong SQL, Database Design, and Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
  • ETL experience with Informatica, DataStage, or similar tools
  • Database Performance Tuning, Monitoring, Backup & Recovery
  • Reporting/Analytics tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy, or SSRS
  • Experience with Data Dictionary development and database documentation
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
