About the job
As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, you’ll lead key initiatives to optimize and evolve our technology and business processes. Your role involves integrating tech solutions, managing organizational change, and enhancing efficiency across departments. You’ll use your project management and technical skills to work with cross-functional teams, define project scopes, develop timelines, allocate resources, and ensure deliverables are met. You’ll also identify opportunities for improvement and guide the organization through transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and project management skills, along with a solid understanding of business operations.
What you’ll do
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of cybersecurity transformation projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  • Work with IT experts to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance cybersecurity and optimize business processes.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during cybersecurity initiatives, including stakeholder communication and training.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives that provide the most value.
  • Manage budget, personnel, and technology effectively to support project success and stay within timelines and budget.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to address them, minimizing disruptions to project goals.
  • Set KPIs and metrics to monitor project progress, provide regular updates, and report to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement, using feedback and lessons learned to refine methodologies and enhance outcomes.
  • Implement rigorous testing and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards for project deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, share knowledge and best practices, and document successes to guide future initiatives.
  • Perform such other duties as may be delegated by the company
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience leading and managing complex cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, execution, resource management, risk assessment and stakeholder communication.
  • Proven track record of driving business transformation initiatives, such as process reengineering, organizational restructuring, digital transformation, or system implementations, resulting in measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, and profitability
  • A solid understanding of technical solutions relevant to business transformation, such as business intelligence tools, workflow automation, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Experience with project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms used to plan, execute, and monitor project progress
Required Skills / Certifications
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and decision-making, utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods to assess project performance, identify trends, evaluate risks, and make informed recommendations for process improvements and strategic initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts, project updates, and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences, including executives, senior management, project teams and external stakeholders
  • High-level experience within the cybersecurity space
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework
  • Skill in identifying potential project risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and adapting plans to address unforeseen challenges
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements, priorities, or unexpected situations, and the flexibility to adjust project plans accordingly
Preferred Skills / Certifications
  • Master’s degree in business, technology or related field
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
Security clearance
  • You must be able to obtain a security clearance (Secret or higher) – US Citizenship required
COMPENSATION
  • $100,000-$200,000 per year based on skills, experience
