JOB DESCRIPTION

Architect - Cybersecurity

Location: Krakow, Poland

Type: Full-time employment

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule is required

Job Summary:

Cyber Security Architect is responsible for guiding the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across our business and IT support areas. Driving the successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk to an acceptable level. Duties also include providing support to internal and external teams to define and develop secure architecture and solutions for projects and business solutions. Conduct discovery sessions to gain the necessary background and review findings to ensure sustained compliance, remediation of control gaps, and escalation of possible critical issues to senior management. Cyber Security Architect also identifies areas of potential improvement for key processes and procedures and define strategies for achieving reductions in work effort and costs related to compliance efforts.

Additional responsibilities include working with various business owners in implementing, executing, and monitoring IT related logical access and IT operations controls using NIST, and other IT control frameworks. This role must have a broad range of security skills and knowledge and be capable of defining secure configurations and architecture requirements, following through with development and deployment to production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Guiding, assessing and documenting design of secure solutions and services across Business & BT areas
  • Defining and implementing secure operations, communications, platform and application standards
  • Architecting and directing implementation of technical security solution policies in alignment with business risk
  • Researches, evaluates, recommends, designs, tests, and implements new security technologies
  • Serving as subject matter expert and central point of contact for Cyber Security
  • Prepares and maintains technical user guides, SOPs, security architecture documentation and diagrams
  • Analyze, Document, and Present findings and proposed solutions
  • Continually communicate to project managers and owner
  • Participate in meetings and provide recommendations and strategies for ensuring remediation of gap and deficiencies as projects develop
  • Stay apprised of all projects and, new controls defined by Internal Audit, and present new applications and process areas likely to require controls to management
  • Participation in 24/7 on call rotation

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related technical field of study. Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.

Experience Required:

  • 10 or more years of experience in cybersecurity, cybersecurity project management, cybersecurity architecture.
  • Strong experience in cybersecurity or technology project management andbudgeting.
  • Strong experience working with business and technology cross functional teams.
  • Strong experience in coordinating and managing work performed by internal and external team resources.
  • Strong experience in one or more information security (NIST CSF) and privacy domains.
  • Strong experience in process improvement and re-engineering.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and ability to engage with senior stakeholders across the enterprise.

Licenses/Certification Required:

  • CISSP or CEH or equivalent

Technical Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, analytical, time management, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, making decisions withsub-optimal/incompleteinformation.
  • Ability to analyze and challenge current working methods to create improvements in processes Experience working with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently within a geographically dispersed team.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable company policies.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
