Job description

Job Summary:
Cyber Risk Analysis Group is a cybersecurity firm specializing in mid-market companies that cannot afford downtime. The NOC Analyst III is responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining clients’ network and IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability, providing higher-tier support and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the NOC.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage network and system performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs and performance metrics.
• Handle incident management, communication (written and verbal), and troubleshooting with limited supervision.
• Be part of a NOC team, covering advanced issues and providing guidance to junior analysts.
• Collaborate with other techs to ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Utilize monitoring tools to track the availability and performance of critical applications, systems, and networks.
• Execute daily system and network log reviews, incident management, and reporting activities.
• Provide timely customer interaction and support via call, e-mail, and portal request.
• Work on projects aimed at network optimization, process improvement, and implementation of new technologies.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience working in a process-oriented workflow environment.
• Solid understanding of network protocols (WAN, LAN, VPN), TCP/IP addressing, and network monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 infrastructure and Windows endpoints.
• Proven customer experience and practiced communication skills, both orally and written.
• Familiarity with PSA tools such as HaloPSA.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a NOC or similar environment, with increasing responsibilities over time.
Preferred:
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
