Columbia, MD | Full Time | TS/SCI with Polygraph Required

Position: Senior Cyber Operator / Developer / Analyst (CODA) (Levels 8–9)

Location: Columbia, MD (on-site)

Clearance Requirement: Active TS with CI Poly. Active TS can be upgraded.

Compensation: $170,000 - $200,000

Experience Requirement:

Description

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Operator / Developer / Analyst who will be deeply involved in hands-on cyber operations, technical analysis, system evaluation, and the development of technical capabilities. This role requires direct engagement supporting high-priority projects involving enterprise networks, telecommunications systems, and cyber operations, while also providing senior-level direction, task leadership, and coordination with stakeholders.

Senior CODAs actively shape operational approaches, guide technical execution, and participate directly in the development and refinement of tools, workflows, and project activities.

A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, or Network Administration is preferred. Equivalent experience or relevant certifications may also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced, hands-on analysis of network infrastructure, operational workflows, and computer systems.

  • Conduct deep network traffic analysis using tools such as TCP/IP, tcpdump, and Wireshark.

  • Lead and execute technical tasks supporting cyber operations and project objectives.

  • Translate project needs and non-technical requirements into actionable concepts of operations (CONOPs) and clearly defined technical tasking.

  • Develop alternate operational approaches to meet project, budget, or timing constraints.

  • Guide, mentor, and oversee junior and mid-level CODAs as part of technical execution.

  • Coordinate directly with customers, external partners, and international stakeholders.

  • Contribute to tool development, script creation, workflow optimization, and system evaluation.

  • Maintain ownership of operational procedures, documentation, and technical reporting.

Skills Requirements

  • Proficiency with Linux command-line interfaces.

  • Understanding of network design and architecture.

  • Extensive scripting experience (Bash, Python).

  • Experience analyzing network protocols and using network analysis tools.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability.

Compensation Employment Policy

Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $170,000 – $200,000 (annualized USD).
