Description

We are hiring a Mid-Level Cyber Capability Developer (Reverse Engineer) - Software Reverse Engineering to perform detailed reverse engineering analysis of target systems in support of the program's custom digital forensic tooling. The successful candidate will analyze software and application code, document technical findings, and contribute to the development of specialized tools and capabilities. This role requires a self-driven professional who can demonstrate increasing technical independence and effectiveness over time.
Responsibilities"

  • Perform detailed disassembly and reverse engineering analysis of software, applications, and target systems.
  • Analyze software behavior and identify relevant functionality, data, and technical characteristics.
  • Document analysis methods, findings, and technical results.
  • Support the development and enhancement of custom digital forensic tools and capabilities.
  • Apply reverse engineering, debugging, and binary analysis techniques to solve technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with technical team members to share findings and support program objectives.
  • Demonstrate progression toward independent execution of assigned tasks by the six-month mid-program review.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of professional reverse engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with assembly language, debuggers such as GDB and Frida, and binary analysis tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and JADX.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex software.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance and support work through SCI channels.
