MILDEC Planner The Ascendancy Group's Mission To be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions. Overview This is a full-time position supporting joint Information planning efforts at a Combatant Command headquarters as part of Operations in the Information Environment (OIE). This position is contingent upon contract award. Security Requirement: TS/SCI or TS w/SCI Eligibility Roles and Responsibilities: * Develops and integrates deception objectives, narratives, and supporting CONOPs that align with the commander's intent and the broader OIE campaign. * Analyzes enemy decision processes (e.g., OODA loop) and intelligence collection systems to identify exploitable vulnerabilities. * Crafts believable, sensor-verifiable deception narratives supported by operations and activities. * Provides Integration with Information Forces 'IRCs': Coordinate deception effects with OPSEC, MISO, Cyber, and EW. * Ensures all deception plans are synchronized with real operations, with coordination across OPSEC and Intel (J2). * Monitors adversary behavior via intelligence capabilities, evaluate success using MOP/MOE, and refine plans accordingly. * Provides direct liaison and integration with CCMD staff, subordinate units, and JIIM partners, ensuring all deception operations support overarching strategic mission sets Required Qualifications: * MILDEC strategic/operational planning experience * One or more of the following Courses: Joint Military Deception Training Course (JMTC); Service Level MILDEC Course; MILDEC Theater Operations Course (MDTOC) * Expertise in the Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) * Experience drafting MILDEC plans, orders, and strategy assessments * Demonstrated ability to perform at a strategic/joint level with minimal guidance Preferred Qualifications: * Education in strategic communications, IO, or national security * Experience working with Special Access Programs (SAP) or Special Technical Operations (STO) * Operational experience in CENTCOM, INDOPACOM, or AFRICOM AORs * Experience at the CCMD or Joint Staff level * Familiarity with HUMINT or Counterintelligence integration The Ascendancy Group (TAG) was founded on and thrives based on relationships, reputation, and trust.
