Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Vaccination Support Initiative. The RN will administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations in a retail pharmacy setting while delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

Minimum Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted RN License
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Experience administering Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine vaccines
  • Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
  • Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • High School Diploma/GED (verification required)
Responsibilities
  • Administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines
  • Screen patients and assess vaccination eligibility
  • Educate patients on vaccines, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care
  • Maintain accurate vaccination records and documentation
  • Follow CDC, state, and CVS vaccination guidelines
  • Ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and infection prevention practices
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a retail clinic environment
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and healthcare team members
  • Remain flexible with scheduling based on business needs
