Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy, conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify patient needs and facilitate effective treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support adult clients in their mental health journey.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all client interactions, including session notes and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with a network of professionals for peer consultations and best practice sharing, enhancing your skills and the overall quality of care provided.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest research and therapeutic methods to best serve your patient population.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with adult clients facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. By leveraging technology and developing strong therapeutic relationships, you will empower your clients to navigate their challenges and achieve their personal goals, contributing positively to their overall mental well-being.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
• An active therapist license in one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least two years of direct experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adults.
• Proficiency in using evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Exceptional written communication skills for effective documentation and clinical record-keeping.
• A clean disciplinary record with no actions taken against you by any licensing board in any jurisdiction.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse populations and an understanding of culturally responsive therapeutic techniques.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling dynamics.
• Interest or experience in specific therapeutic focuses (e.g., trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, etc.) will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
