Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that caters to a diverse spectrum of client needs, empowering individuals to reclaim their lives from the impacts of substance use and mental health disorders. Our multidisciplinary team is composed of compassionate professionals committed to creating a supportive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and healing.

Work Environment

This role operates entirely remotely, offering flexibility and work-life balance. While you will spend most of your time working from home, regular communication with team members and clients is facilitated through virtual platforms. Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will engage in a dynamic and responsive work setting that prioritizes integrated care and collaborative treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between clients, their families, and outpatient providers to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.
  • Interact with insurance companies to manage pre-certification and navigate utilization management processes for client admissions and ongoing services.
  • Engage actively in discharge planning and aftercare management, helping clients develop tailored plans for sustained recovery.
  • Provide therapeutic meal support, skillfully modeling healthy relationships with food and nutrition for clients.
  • Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances and intersecting identities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily supports adults recovering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with a diverse clientele, including older adults, who require specialized social work interventions, understand the complexities of recovery, and recognize the critical importance of tailoring support to individual needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW license in the state of Tennessee is required.
  • In-depth experience working with older adult populations and addressing their specific mental health needs.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with a history of developing effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for client engagement and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining an integral part of a supportive and dynamic team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a detox or rehabilitation setting, particularly with complex client cases that involve multiple service providers.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) management systems.
  • Demonstrated capacity to build rapport with clients through trust-based and culturally sensitive approaches.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $90,000 and $105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Employees at Huckeye Health Recovery Center enjoy a robust benefits package that includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your health and well-being.
  • A 401(k) plan along with flexible spending options to help you prepare for the future.
  • Life insurance, as well as accident and short-term disability coverage, ensuring peace of mind for you and your family.
