Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in our Indianapolis, IN Distribution Center facility. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical components operate safely and efficiently while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. This role will also support our conveyor team as needed.

This position will pay $35.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.

  • Collaborate with facility management and other departments to address electrical needs.

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance work.

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent electrical hazards.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Physical demands: This position has a lifting requirement of 75 lbs for 0% to 33% of the time.  Other physical activities include bending/reaching/stooping 34% to 66% of the time and walking/standing/climbing 34% to 66% of the time.

  • Work environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.  Every area of the building(s) and property including the roof, parking lots, and surrounding land.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to perform physical activities such as: lift 100lbs., bending, reaching, stooping, walking, standing, and climbing


Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid electrician’s license or certification (as required by state/local laws)

  • Proven experience as an electrician in a commercial or industrial setting

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Education

High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or electrical apprenticeship preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $35.29

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
