CVS Health has an exciting new opportunity for a pharmacy technician in Fort Worth, TX. Our CarePlus CVS Specialty Pharmacy Services specializes in Oncology, Multiple Sclerosis, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Gastrointestinal, and multiple other diseases, and we are adding pharmacy technicians to this team! As a pharmacy technician, you will focus on data entry, processing new referrals, benefit verifications, answering phones, making refill calls, and setting up deliveries with patients. You may also assist walk-in patients, fill and ring out prescriptions, maintain adequate inventory, manage inventory functions, and ship orders. In addition, you will work closely with others to process prior authorizations and enroll patients in financial assistance.

To be successful in this role, you must interact with a diverse customer base in a friendly and confident manner and be able to work in a team environment. You should be motivated, organized, detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills along with the ability to learn new operating systems as well as a baseline knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology. Must be able to lift and ship prescriptions up to 40lbs.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance as well as a wide-ranging list of supplemental benefits and discount programs. In addition to paid days off for employees, we also offer ten paid holidays. We are open Mon-Fri 8:00AM-6:00PM. We are closed on federal holidays. This is an onsite position. We offer competitive hourly pay rates based on experience!

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
