Job Description
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
-Coordinating and billing claims from billing software
-VA, WCA and CVC Hospital Billing
-Meeting deadlines and completing assigned tasks timely and efficiently.
-Mailing and faxing documents needed in an effort to obtain payment on behalf of our client
-Heavy phone work and system updating. Will be responsible for working off of multiple systems and multitasking.
$12 to $15 per hour, Mon-Fri
Qualifications
Employee Minimum Skills:
-High School Diploma
-Certified Biller with HOSPITAL BILLING experience
-VA billing, WC billing, Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurances is a HUGE PLUS!
-Knowledge in Out of State Medicaid programs and enrollment a plus
-Computer savvy, 40 wpm, 10-key by touch, Microsoft Office, internet and ability to quickly learn new systems
-Strong interpersonal communication skills, including dealing with patients, clients, insurance companies, etc.
-Strong phone etiquette
-Must be prompt and presentable
-Dependable transportation
-8-5 shifts Monday through Friday
