SHIFT:  Sunday - Thursday, 9:45pm - 6:15am


Job Summary:

Assist with the set-up and run of required jobs on Folder/Gluer equipment, maintaining good quality, productivity, and work attitude.  


Job Description:  

  • Assist operator in the operation, set-up and running of required jobs.  
  • Maintain standard of quality.  
  • Report any problems and/or discrepancies to the die cutting manager.  
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.  
  • Work overtime when needed.  
  • Report accurate time and quantities using the “ELF” systems.  
  • Other duties as assigned.   

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None 
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications of Position:

  • High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience  
  • Mechanical aptitude   

Preferred Qualifications of Position:

  • A good understanding of operating/trouble shooting Valco glue system.  

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to measure in fractions of inches up to and including 32nds.  
  • Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions.  
  • Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up.  
  • Basic Math skills including skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  
  • Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation.  
  • Demonstrates positive safety attitude.   

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  •  Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.    
  • Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
  • Frequent walking and standing.

 The national pay range for this role is $18 - 22/hr. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
