Why is Gen Z not getting hired?

Gen Z job seekers may face challenges such as limited work experience, high competition, and employers' preferences for candidates with specific skills or certifications. Additionally, some employers prioritize traditional qualifications or experience over newer generations' job application approaches, impacting hiring rates for entry-level roles like those in retail or service industries.

What jobs will be eliminated in the next 5 years?

Jobs involving manual cutting, such as certain manufacturing and assembly line roles, are at risk of automation and elimination due to advances in robotics and AI. Positions that rely heavily on repetitive tasks are increasingly replaced by machines, reducing demand for human labor in these areas. Workers in these fields may need to develop skills in technology and automation to adapt to changing job markets.

What companies are slashing jobs?

Several large companies across various industries have announced layoffs or job cuts recently, often due to economic downturns, restructuring, or shifts in market demand. Tech firms, retail chains, and financial institutions are among those reducing their workforce, with some implementing layoffs affecting thousands of employees. Job seekers should monitor company announcements and industry news for the latest updates on employment changes.
