Ensure value-added services are applied to customer garments accurately, on time, and in accordance with GALLS, LLC quality standards. Production Associates work together to perform various duties, including but not limited to garment prep, emblem application, embroidery, auditing, engraving, heat-press application, garment cutting, and product research. Associates use several pieces of industrial machinery, including embroidery, sewing, engraving, and heat press machines.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Perform VAS-related functions as business needs dictate, including garment prep, sewing, embroidery, emblem application, auditing, engraving, heat press application, garment cutting, picking/packing, or researching product: immediate need/Initial Emphasis Heat press
  • Ability to operate various machines, including sewing, embroidery, engraving, and heat press
  • Ensure quality standards are met by thoroughly reviewing and executing a work instruction document (WID) that includes the correct product, size, quantity, color, service to be rendered, and placement locations
  • Monitor machine operation to detect issues such as defective stitching, thread breaks, or malfunctions
  • Execute all job tasks consistently by following established standard operating procedures
  • Identify and communicate any delays or issues that could prevent a specific job from being completed on time
  • Maintain daily production requirements
  • Audit finished value-added service against the order ticket to ensure the order is complete and accurate
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work area
  • Follow preventative maintenance procedures
  • Comply with all safety standards for production operations
  • Maintain internal logs as required, to include productivity logs
  • Other tasks as needed to support business needs
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High School Degree/Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to read English and follow directions/complete order tickets
  • Looking for candidates who have experience in a variety of VAS/Tailor shop functions
  • Basic Computer Skills with the ability to learn new software, including GQ (internal order management system)
  • Good Manual Dexterity
  • Attention to Detail
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and perform quality work under deadline pressure
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for VAS. Must be able to sit or stand for the full shift as role dictates, and be able to execute frequent bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, carrying, and squatting when completing production processes or moving product(s)
  • Candidates understand that work is performed in a warehouse environment, including a non-temperature-controlled setting, noise, machine operation, and dust
