Position: Die Cutter Operator (Night Shift)
Reports to: Cutting Department Manager

Position Description:
We are looking for an individual to join our team with a background in operating machinery. Ideally this person will have prior experience operating a Die Cutter.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform cutting make-readies.
  • Ability to lift repeatedly between 50-70lbs (pallets and plates).
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift for duration of 12-hour shift.
  • Attention to detail (visual inspections).
  • Perform scanner checks and run the 142 CER.
  • Perform maintenance on Die Cutter/Bobst 142.
  • Ability to operate WIP system and manage inventory.
  • Willingness to maintain equipment and workstation during and after every shift.
  • Reliable with a work ethic, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to operate computer software associated with machinery (ERP system).
  • Ability to use a hand truck.
  • Lock up dies, rubber dies.
  • Ability to use a tape measure and make measurements
Communication Skills/Requirements
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with management, peers, and other employees. Have active listening skills, attention to details, and follow-through. Have a strong customer focus. Required to identify areas of need, while defining problems, and identifying potential options and solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations. Must demonstrate tact, professionalism, teamwork, flexibility, attention to detail, an organized approach to work with a positive attitude.
Safety
All duties to be performed in compliance with the company guidelines, and safety policy.
MUST WEAR Ear plug hearing protection, safety glasses, and face mask in Designated Areas.
MUST WEAR Hair Net when handling direct food contact packaging.
Experience
Die-cutting experience is mandatory
Must be authorized to work in the United States
