Job Description

We’re looking for a Customer Service Associate to join our team in Peace River, AB. In this role, you will be the face of our Profit Centre, supporting customers at the counter, over the phone, and through daily operations. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service while contributing to order fulfillment, inventory organization, and overall PC success.

  • Assist customers at the counter with product inquiries, recommendations, and order processing
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Enter, pick, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Follow all Health and Safety rules and legislation while performing job functions
  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Support receiving, organizing, and putting away incoming materials as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe counter and warehouse environment
  • Follow up on customer orders, backorders, and delivery timelines
  • Process returns and warranty claims in accordance with company procedures
  • Build strong relationships with customers and contribute to repeat business
  • Assist with inventory counts and general PC operations
  • Support teammates across all areas of the Profit Centre as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to share best practices and support one another
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all customer interactions
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager
Qualifications

What We Are Looking for From You:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a professional setting and/or 1 year of warehouse experience
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge
  • Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and any other material handling equipment
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders
  • Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
  • Intermediate math skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre
  • Experience working for a plumbing wholesaler
  • Experience using M3 or similar
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Additional Information

$37 400.00 - $41 600.00
