Job description

Join Quill, a valuable part of the Staples family of brands, as an Inside Sales Representative focused on reactivating and growing existing customers.

Youll work 100% company-provided customer contacts, engaging customers who already have a relationship with Quill but havent ordered recently. Your role is to reconnect, drive new orders, and expand revenue within enterprise accounts.

What youll be doing:

  • Make high-volume outbound calls to inactive customers (7+ months)
  • Re-engage and convert non-ordering locations within existing accounts
  • Prospect additional locations tied to enterprise customers
  • Handle inbound calls and convert inquiries into sales
  • Identify customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Negotiate pricing and generate quotes
  • Use customer data to identify upsell opportunities
  • Meet or exceed monthly activity and sales targets
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and internal sales teams

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years B2B sales or B2B service experience
  • Experience meeting sales or productivity goals (metrics / KPIs)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
  • Ability to work onsite at our Lincolnshire, IL location at least 4 days per week

Note: This position is a minimum of 4 days in the office at our Lincolnshire, IL location with flexibility for remote work on Fridays.

$22.75/hour - $27.00/hour, plus incentive opportunity


The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, business considerations, geography, and internal equity.Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
