The Customerโ€ฏService Representativeโ€ฏis the front-line ambassador for Ashley, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for every customer. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing administrative support to store operations whileโ€ฏassistingโ€ฏwith various office functions. Theโ€ฏCustomer Service Representativeโ€ฏplays a vital role in building customer relationships andโ€ฏsupportsโ€ฏthe operational excellence that drives Ashley's retail success.โ€ฏ 

Whatโ€ฏYouโ€™llโ€ฏDoโ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏ 

  • Front Desk & Customer Service: Greet all customers in a warm, professional mannerโ€ฏrepresentingโ€ฏAshley's brand image. Provide exceptional customer service through all interactions including in-person, phone, and email communications.โ€ฏ 
  • Sales Order Support:โ€ฏAssistโ€ฏwith processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required documentation isโ€ฏcomplete,โ€ฏand proper approvals are obtained beforeโ€ฏfinalizingโ€ฏtransactions.โ€ฏ 
  • Customer Account Management:โ€ฏProcess customer credit applications,โ€ฏassistโ€ฏwith financing arrangements, andโ€ฏmaintainโ€ฏaccurateโ€ฏcustomer account information in retail management systems.โ€ฏ 
  • Cash Handling & Financial Procedures: Follow established cash handling procedures, process payments accurately, and reconcile transactions according to company policies under Office Manager supervision.โ€ฏ 
  • Customer Issue Resolution:โ€ฏAddress customer inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating complex issues toโ€ฏManagementโ€ฏasโ€ฏappropriate whileโ€ฏfollowing up to ensure resolution.โ€ฏ 
  • Audit & Compliance Assistance: Supportโ€ฏManagementโ€ฏwith operational audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks by gathering required documentation and verifying accuracy of paperwork.โ€ฏ 
  • Reporting & Documentation:โ€ฏMaintainโ€ฏaccurateโ€ฏrecords, prepare routine reports, and ensure all sales and office paperworkโ€ฏisโ€ฏproperly completed and filed according to company standards.โ€ฏ 
  • Team Collaboration:โ€ฏWork cooperatively with sales team, merchandising personnel, and other store associates to ensure seamless customerโ€ฏexperienceโ€ฏand efficient store operations.โ€ฏ 
  • Technology & Systems:โ€ฏUtilizeโ€ฏpoint-of-sale systems, retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business tools to perform job duties efficiently and accurately.โ€ฏ 
  • Complete anyโ€ฏadditionalโ€ฏtasks as assigned byโ€ฏmanagementโ€ฏโ€ฏ 

What You Bringโ€ฏโ€ฏ 

  • Legally authorized to work in the US.โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏ 
  • At least 18 years oldโ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏ 
  • High school diploma or equivalentโ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏ 
  • Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactionsโ€ฏโ€ฏ 
  • 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience,โ€ฏpreferredโ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏ 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends andโ€ฏholidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities โ€“ various shiftsโ€ฏ 
  • Maintain reliableโ€ฏattendanceโ€ฏโ€ฏ
