Job description

Position Summary
The Project Manager at Hunter Quinn Homes oversees the entire home-building process, with a particular focus on guiding projects from the preplanning process through warranty. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of navigating the complexities of construction management while maintaining a commitment to the highest industry standards. Hunter Quinn Homes offers a dynamic environment where the Project Manager’s experience is complemented by a commitment to ongoing training, ensuring they are well-equipped to steer projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and trade partners to streamline material procurement throughout each construction phase.
  • Oversee trade partner coordination, ensuring precise delivery and placement of materials on-site.
  • Implement and adjust project schedules daily based on actual work completion to keep builds on track.
  • Review and approve purchase orders and payments to suppliers and independent contractors on a weekly basis.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts between blueprints and as-built construction in a timely manner.
  • Analyze construction costs against original estimates and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct Homeowner Orientation (NHO) and Homeowner Closing walks, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
  • Coordinate warranty service in accordance with company policy and maintain effective communication with homeowners (per market).
  • Inspect all materials upon delivery and verify workmanship during installation and at completion to uphold quality standards.
  • Determine readiness for third-party and municipality inspections and authorize payment only upon verified stage completion.
  • Monitor subdivision safety compliance, address violations promptly, and oversee weekly inspections.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction management or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and quality control processes.
  • Proven ability to manage trade partners, subcontractors, and supplier relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and online scheduling tools.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering homes that meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
