RCS Industrial & Environmental is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial cleaning and environmental service projects.

If you have experience managing hydro blasting, vacuum truck operations, pressure washing, confined space work, tank cleaning, shutdowns, or industrial maintenance projects, we’d like to talk with you.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working in the field, building customer relationships, leading crews, solving problems, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships that lead to repeat business.

  • Manage industrial cleaning projects from planning through completion.

  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and project schedules.

  • Manage employee time, labor hours, and project productivity.

  • Conduct daily safety meetings, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and pre-job briefings.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, customer safety requirements, and RCS safety policies.

  • Enforce proper use of PPE and safe operating procedures at all times.

  • Monitor project quality, budgets, schedules, and customer expectations.

  • Work closely with the industrial division manager to ensure successful project execution.

  • Oversee work involving:

  • Hydroblasting

  • Vacuum truck operations

  • Industrial pressure washing

  • Tank cleaning

  • Confined space entry

  • Industrial maintenance support

  • Plant shutdowns and turnarounds

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a leader who is respected by both customers and employees and who leads by example.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supervising industrial cleaning or environmental service projects.

  • Previous experience managing field crews in an industrial environment.

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.

  • Experience managing customer relationships and jobsite communications.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following are strongly encouraged to apply:

Schedule & Travel

This position requires flexibility to meet customer needs, including:

  • Nights

  • Weekends

  • Holidays

  • Overtime

  • Emergency response work

  • Travel to customer locations throughout the Southeast

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires:

  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Walking industrial facilities for extended periods.

  • Climbing ladders and stairs.

  • Entering confined spaces when necessary.

  • Wearing required PPE, including respirators, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and fall protection equipment.

  • Working around industrial equipment and operating environments while maintaining strict safety standards.
