Join a leading low voltage systems integrator as a Professional Services Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and leading a dynamic Project Services Department. This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to oversee all aspects of commercial low voltage project and service operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Supported by a dedicated Field Operations Manager and Procurement & Purchasing Manager, you will focus on strategic direction, operational oversight, financial accountability, personnel leadership, and exceptional customer service. Be part of a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement, professional development, and long-term departmental growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Project Services Department, setting departmental goals and driving operational excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and improve departmental processes and procedures.
  • Oversee all commercial low voltage installation and service projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, subcontractors, equipment, and customer communications for multiple projects.
  • Review project documentation, budgets, forecasts, and change orders to ensure successful project execution and closeout.
  • Monitor project profitability, labor utilization, and departmental performance, providing operational reporting and recommendations to executive management.
  • Recruit, hire, coach, mentor, and develop team members, conducting performance evaluations and promoting a positive team culture.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, OSHA regulations, and safety policies.
  • Promote continuous improvement and maintain accurate project documentation and operational records.
Qualifications
  • Five or more years of experience managing commercial low voltage projects.
  • Three or more years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, access control, surveillance, wireless, audio/visual, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and personnel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or Electrical Engineering (preferred but not required).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), BICSI RCDD or Technician Certification, OSHA 30, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (optional), ConnectWise PSA experience, and Microsoft Project or Smartsheet experience are preferred.
