Job description

ICMS is looking for an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager who will be a leader of a construction project. This individual is responsible for the oversight of all construction efforts at a large project site. Limited supervision and general direction, independently applies advanced techniques to complex assignments. Viewed as a fully competent, experienced professional.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of construction related activities for contracts.
  • Support COR by performing all project management tasks.
  • Provide the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
  • Coordination with customers, schedule review, and design review.
  • Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field.
  • Review contractor submittals for contract conformance.
  • Provide assistance to the contracting officer or COR throughout the acquisition phases of the project to include answering offerors questions; attending/participating in site orientation visits; attending/participating in joint contractor/government meetings.
  • Draft technical responses to any change orders.
  • Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications.

Requirements

· Four-year Bachelor's Degree is desired in construction management, civil engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.

· Prefer Project Management or other project management certification.

· Minimum of 20 years project management work experience on commercial or Government construction projects. Project management experience on projects over $50M.

· Proven leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Proficiency in managing contracts, budgets, and schedules.

Additional Qualifying Factors:

· As a condition of employment, it will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.

Security Clearance:

It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required.
