(Remote Working Setup after Training)

Location: Tampa Bay, FL
Our client is a leading provider of health insurance services specializing in Medicaid and Medicare plans. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting their members with their health care coverage needs.

Position Summary: The Customer Support Representative is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and professional support to members, providers, and partners regarding Medicaid and Medicare plans. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others navigate health insurance benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and other inquiries from members and providers regarding Medicaid and Medicare plans.
  • Assist customers with enrollment, eligibility, claims, billing, and benefits questions.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately and update account records as needed.
  • Provide clear and empathetic communication to resolve issues effectively.
  • Educate members on available resources, benefits, and plan details.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate team or supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior customer service experience (call center or health insurance preferred).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
