Advanced Pump is a small, hands-on business based in Woburn, MA. We specialize in the sale and repair of pumps across a range of industries including sewage/septic, industrial, and commercial applications. We pride ourselves on fast service, practical problem-solving, and strong customer relationships.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Operations & Service Manager to help run the day-to-day operations of our office. This is a key role in a small team, ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and taking ownership of their work. 
You’ll be the central point connecting sales, customers, and service operations.
Responsibilities
  • Manage inside sales: answer calls, prepare quotes, process orders
  • Manage ecommerce activity (order processing, listings, customer inquiries)
  • Manage & Coordinate service and repair workflow between customers, technicians, and outside vendors
  • Communicate with customers on order status, timelines, and service updates
  • Help maintain organized records, inventory coordination, and general office operations
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–7+ years of experience in sales, operations, or office management
  • Comfortable in a small business environment where responsibilities vary day-to-day
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-starter who can take initiative without constant direction
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms or inventory/order systems is a plus
  • Background in industrial service, distribution, or service businesses is a plus
Compensation
  • Base salary: $75,000 – $85,000 (depending on experience)
  • Bonus potential based on performance
  • Opportunity to grow with the business and take on increased responsibility
