Job description

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Pay: $65,000/annually
FleetLogix, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to support our operational efforts during the launch of new locations, seasonal volume spikes, and short-term staffing gaps. This is a hands-on role requiring frequent travel (at least 50%) to support site operations across multiple regions. When not traveling, the Operations Manager will assist the Regional Director with local account management and recruiting initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, operational insight, and the flexibility to travel on short notice and for extended periods.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide on-site operational support at new and existing locations
  • Travel to various locations up to at least 50% of the time (including extended stays)
  • Lead and coach frontline teams: interviewing, hiring, training, and managing performance
  • Act as a liaison between FleetLogix, local teams, and clients
  • Ensure safety compliance and proper team conduct at all times
  • Use our FleetLogix portal to monitor productivity and accountability
  • Identify top performers for internal growth opportunities
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training when not traveling
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and internal policies

What We're Looking For:
  • 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Experience in operations or the rental car industry a plus
  • Ability to travel frequently and stay on location as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Applicant must meet our minimum hiring age (21), have a valid state issued Driver's License with satisfactory driving record.
  • At least 4 years of qualified driving experience
  • Must pass background check, drug screening, and driver safety test
  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; college degree is a plus

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move in/out of vehicles throughout the day
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods
  • Walk long distances (100+ yards multiple times per day)
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Travel by plane or vehicle
