Job description

Adjusts or replaces products that have been delivered to customers and are not functioning properly. This position provides service in local and remote market areas and may require operation of company vehicles in all seasons and weather conditions. The Field Service Technician works on customer property and frequently interacts directly with customers and therefore is expected to provide superior customer service in both a professional and timely manner.


The Field Service Technician is a responsible, self-starter who uses their experience to deliver the desired customer service experience. Must multitask, keep accurate records, and communicate well verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits
  • Tie workflow to schedule
  • Manage all on site repair, maintenance, and test tasks
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
  • Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information with Field Service Manager
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
  • Build positive relationships with customers

Requirements

  • Proven field service, manufacturing experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
