Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Manager to lead our Service Department. The Service Manager will oversee daily service operations, manage and mentor our service team, and ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience and a properly serviced vehicle. This is a key leadership role for someone who takes pride in operational excellence and wants to be part of a dealership that feels like family.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality repairs
  • Hire, train, schedule, and mentor service advisors and technicians
  • Ensure an outstanding customer experience from check-in through vehicle delivery
  • Monitor and manage department budgets, labor hours, parts costs, and profitability
  • Maintain manufacturer (CDJR and Ford) service standards, certifications, and warranty compliance
  • Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to build lasting trust
  • Track key performance metrics (CSI, productivity, efficiency) and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment in compliance with dealership and safety standards
  • Partner with Parts and Sales departments to support overall dealership goals
Qualifications
  • Previous automotive service management or service advisor leadership experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of dealership service operations; CDJR and/or Ford experience a plus
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • ASE certifications a plus
  • Experience with dealership service software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, DealerTrack, or similar) preferred
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening
