Commercial Roofing - Senior Service Manager

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000

Bonus Opportunity: Performance Based Incentive Eligible

Are you an experienced leader in commercial roofing service and repair who knows how to drive performance, support customers, and lead teams in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Senior Service Manager to lead our service department and help grow our repair and maintenance operations.

This is a key leadership role for someone who can oversee day-to-day service activity, support field teams, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

What You’ll Do

As our Senior Service Manager, you will lead the commercial roofing service department and oversee service operations from dispatch to closeout. You will manage technicians and service staff, coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance work, monitor job performance, and help ensure outstanding customer service.

You will also play an important role in growing recurring service revenue, improving department efficiency, and maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the daily operations of the commercial roofing service department

· Manage service technicians, foremen, and service coordination staff

· Oversee leak response, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance work

· Review work orders, reports, photos, proposals, and closeout documentation

· Monitor labor, materials, subcontractor use, and job profitability

· Build strong relationships with property managers, facility teams, building owners, and key accounts

· Support the growth of recurring maintenance and repair business

· Enforce company safety policies, OSHA compliance, and jobsite standards

· Coach and develop team members while driving accountability and performance

· Partner with leadership on staffing, forecasting, budgeting, and process improvement

What We’re Looking For

We want a candidate with strong commercial roofing experience and proven leadership ability. You should be comfortable managing people, solving problems quickly, communicating with customers, and keeping service operations running smoothly.

Required Qualifications

· 7+ years of commercial roofing experience, including service and repair operations

· 3+ years of leadership experience in service, operations, or field management

· Strong knowledge of TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, metal, and coating systems

· Experience with dispatching, work order management, and job costing

· Ability to read scopes, reports, drawings, and inspection documentation

· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

· Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

· OSHA 30 certification

· Manufacturer certifications or advanced roofing system knowledge

· Experience managing emergency response and leak service programs

· Experience with ERP, CRM, or mobile field service platforms
