Service Estimator Duties:

  • Our Service Estimators provide outstanding customer service to solve customer's material handling equipment service needs by creating and delivering accurate and timely parts and labor repair estimates. 
  • Consult with customers about their repair quotes, such as providing aftermarket and OEM parts options, answering questions about expected service outcomes, and advising on whether replacement might be more cost effective than repair. 
  • Open, process, and close service repair quotes by obtaining accurate details from customers, service technicians, and our parts teams. 
  • Identify add-on sales opportunities and can effectively communicate these to the customers and appropriate sales representatives. 
  • Supports service department operations, which may include answering customer phone calls, technician dispatch, and work order invoicing.
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

Service Estimator Requirements:

  • Our Service Estimators must be capable of organizing, prioritizing, and performing multiple duties.
  • Ability to understand and communicate mechanical, electrical, or other technical matters with a broad range of people from experts to a lay person. 
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Highly effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and general business software.
  • Pass drug screen and background check.
