Customer Service Representative

Location: Ashburn, VA
Pay: $20.00–$23.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Duration: 8-Month Contract-to-Hire

Position Summary

PTS Advance is hiring a Customer Service Representative to join a growing team in Ashburn, VA. This role supports customers and Regional Sales Managers by processing orders, managing customer accounts, preparing quotes, and resolving customer inquiries. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where delivering exceptional customer service is a top priority.

Responsibilities
  • Enter, review, and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, providing timely and professional support.
  • Prepare customer quotes, manage order updates, and assist with returns (RMAs).
  • Follow up on sales quotes and maintain communication with customers throughout the sales process.
  • Partner with the assigned Regional Sales Manager to manage customer accounts and support sales growth within an assigned territory.
  • Update customer, account, and opportunity information in company databases and CRM systems.
  • Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
  • Generate reports and complete administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Support ISO quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with training new team members when needed.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1–3 years of customer service, inside sales, or administrative support experience.
  • At least one year of sales experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM and business systems.
  • Previous technical or manufacturing customer service experience is a plus.
