Job description

At Salem Gymnastics & Swim, our Customer Service Representatives are the first friendly faces our families meet—and a key part of creating the welcoming, safe, and upbeat environment we’re known for. This part-time role supports front desk operations, assists families with exceptional care, and helps keep our programs running smoothly. The position reports to the Customer Service Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service & Lobby Support

  • Greet and check in families with warmth and enthusiasm
  • Answer phones and respond to questions with clarity, positivity, and professionalism
  • Maintain a secure and wellorganized front desk environment
  • Offer tours and share helpful program information with new and prospective families
  • Guide families to their classrooms and activity areas
  • Assist with scheduling makeups, processing payments, completing enrollments, and ensuring families get the support they need
  • Provide support to all staff throughout the shift to ensure smooth and safe operations
  • Facility & Operational Support
  • Keep lobby floors clean, dry, and safe for families and athletes
  • Sweep entrance areas as needed and ensure lobby spaces stay tidy and inviting
  • Maintain bathroom supplies and cleanliness throughout the shift
  • Document any unresolved customer concerns and share daily updates with leadership
  • Complete endofday reports and prepare class rolls as assigned
  • Assist with additional administrative or program tasks to support overall facility operations
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma required
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Schedule

    Monday–Thursday evenings and Saturdays (20-25 hours per week)
