Job description

Software Engineer We're seeking a software engineer to join our AI infrastructure team at Columbia, MD. In this role, you'll help build and maintain the foundation for advanced AI capabilities, while supporting an ecosystem of AI-enabled applications. Responsibilities: * Develop high-quality AI tools and applications for workforce use
* Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security of AI tools
* Modify FOSS to accommodate customer’s use cases
* Engage with customers regularly to elicit requirements and develop solutions
* Maintain existing customer-facing infrastructure and applications for reliable services
Required Skills: * Familiarity with UI/UX principles
* Knowledge of using LLMs as part of a code solution workflow
* Able to learn new technologies quickly
* Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions
* Proficiency with Python or another Object-Oriented Programming language
Nice to Have: * Experience with LLM UI Open-Source software such as OpenWebUI
* Familiarity with AWS or other cloud service providers
* Experience with Kubernetes/Helm
* Familiarity with Argo CD and/or other CI/CD frameworks
* Experience supporting production software using SRE best practices
* Experience with Docker and containerization
