Job description

Supervises all operation, and sub. dept. managers. Approximately half of the shift is spent doing paperwork, such as interviewing and hiring, schedule writing, bookkeeping,and all other daily reports. This job is also responsible for all cash and profits of the store. The other half of the shift is spent dealing with the employees concerns, and customers relations. This job requires a full understanding of all store operations, including Meat, Produce, Bakery/Deli and Grocery departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Use of fingers, hands and arms.
  • Use a 10 key calculator.
  • Use basic math and calculate retail pricing.
  • Organize and coordinate store activities.
  • Establishes relationships with customers, suppliers and conducts company business in an ethical manner.
  • Aware of job principles,facts, procedures,and policy.
  • Effectively directs and controls work in area of responsibility.
  • The ability to support and encourage employees, and help with any of their concerns.
  • Leadership through employees, gaining their support.
  • Perform any and all duties assigned by our company policies.

  • Understanding of the target program.
  • Confrontational skills.
