EXPERIENCED TRUCK TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our Experienced Truck Technician / Mechanic, you’ll take on the challenge of maintaining and repairing medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks, ensuring every job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will directly support our customers’ success by keeping their trucks running smoothly and maximizing uptime.

Each day, you’ll diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, identifying the best solutions to restore each truck to peak performance. Your work may include repairing or rebuilding major components such as cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air systems.

Each day, you’ll have the opportunity to continue improving your skills while working alongside other highly trained technicians in a fully equipped shop. With the right tools, training, and support at your disposal, you’ll perform top-quality work that makes a real impact.

This team member will work Tuesday – Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm and Saturday 7:00am – 3:30pm.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 2 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair. Will also accept candidates with a Diesel tech degree and a mechanical aptitude/background.
  • Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge. Cummins and MX software experience preferred.
  • Self-motivation and assertiveness.
  • Ability to work under little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Must provide own tools.
Compensation: $29.80-34.35/hr (Depending on Experience)Why work for Pape’:
