The Customer Program/Product Manager (CPM) is responsible for the end-to-end execution of strategic customer programs, ensuring seamless alignment between customer requirements and internal cross-functional teams. 

This role serves as the operational leader for customer engagements, driving accountability, visibility, and on-time delivery across engineering, product management, operations, quality, and sales. 

The CPM ensures that customer commitments - including project milestones, engineering samples, and volume ramps - are executable, scalable, and delivered with excellence in a supply-constrained and fast-paced environment. 

Renesas Electronics, a leading global semiconductor company, is rapidly scaling its AI-focused power delivery business. Products include high-performance digital power VRMs, multiphase controllers, Smart Power Stages (SPS), Vertical Power Stages (SPS with integrated capacitors and multiple silicon die), Power Towers (power modules integrating multiple SPS-equivalents with capacitors and inductors), and power MOSFETs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Program Execution:
    • Own the successful execution of assigned customer programs. 
    • Understand and manage customer project scope, schedules, milestones, and deliverables. 
    • Align internal development timelines with customer expectations. 
    • Identify program risks and drive mitigation plans proactively. 
    • Lead regular internal and customer-facing program reviews. 
  • Volume Ramp & Supply Coordination:
    • Understand customer forecast and volume ramp requirements. 
    • Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, and capacity planning to ensure readiness. 
    • Monitor ramp execution and escalate constraints early. 
    • Ensure alignment between customer demand and supply capabilities 
  • Engineering Samples & NPI Management 
    • Manage planning, forecasting, and delivery of engineering samples. 
    • Track requested ship dates, lead times, and build status. 
    • Drive cross-functional coordination to meet sample commitments. 
    • Ensure proper governance through NPI planning gates and readiness reviews. 
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance 
    • Act as a single point of program coordination across: Product Line Management Design Engineering, Applications / FAEs, Operations & Supply Chain, Quality, Sales.
    • Establish execution dashboards and KPIs. 
    • Provide transparent status updates on schedule, quality, supply, and risks. 
    • Escalate critical issues with data-driven recommendations. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience in program management, product management, or operations within semiconductors, power electronics, or infrastructure markets. 
  • Strong understanding of NPI processes, supply chain operations, and volume ramp execution. 
  • Experience managing complex, high-visibility customer programs. 
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority. 
  • Excellent communication, organization, and executive presentation skills. 
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to create structured execution dashboards. 
Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $190K-$230. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
