Customer Program Manager - Rack Scale CPU Solutions
THE POSITION
AMD is seeking a highly driven and technically strong Customer Program Manager (CPM) to lead strategic CPU engagements supporting next-generation rack scale platform solutions across hyperscale, AI, cloud, and enterprise customers.
THE ROLE
This role requires a leader who can operate effectively across business units and engineering organizations while driving alignment between CPU, GPU, networking, platform, firmware, validation, and customer enablement teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of technical program management, customer engagement experience, and the ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments.
The CPM will serve as a key customer-facing program leader responsible for coordinating execution across internal AMD teams, ecosystem partners, ODM/OEM vendors, and direct customer engineering organizations to ensure successful platform development, integration, validation, and deployment readiness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead end-to-end customer engagement and execution for rack scale CPU platform initiatives across strategic accounts.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across CPU, GPU, networking, platform engineering, firmware, validation, quality, and operations teams.
  • Coordinate complex technical programs involving multi-business-unit dependencies and ecosystem integration.
  • Partner closely with OEMs, ODMs, silicon vendors, infrastructure partners, and direct customer engineering teams to ensure program success.
  • Manage program schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, escalation management, and execution readiness.
  • Lead customer-facing reviews, technical discussions, issue management, and executive status communications.
  • Drive alignment and rapid resolution of technical, operational, and integration challenges across globally distributed teams.
  • Support platform bring-up, validation readiness, deployment planning, and post-launch customer engagement activities.
  • Foster strong working relationships across engineering, architecture, product management, customer engineering, and executive leadership teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Strong experience managing complex server, AI, cloud, or rack scale infrastructure programs.
  • Technical understanding of CPU, GPU, networking, server platform architecture, and data center ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to lead large cross-functional programs across multiple organizations and business units.
  • Experience working directly with hyperscale customers, OEMs, ODMs, or strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Strong executive communication, customer engagement, and escalation management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in highly dynamic environments with competing priorities and aggressive execution timelines.
  • Demonstrated leadership, ownership mindset, and ability to influence without direct authority.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required
  • Advanced degree preferred
