The Opportunity

The Project Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining SAP Master Data related to project work, including Functional Locations (FLOC), Equipment, and Preventive Maintenance Plans. This role ensures accurate data creation, updates, and distribution to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, supporting compliance and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

  • Ensure timely and accurate data standards and perform data entry of Equipment and Preventive Maintenance information in SAP Plant Maintenance module
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to align Safety, Health, and Engineering directives into Work Order generation
  • Identify SAP master-data issues, recommend and implement solutions to optimize processes
  • Participate in SAP enhancement processes, including requirements gathering and user acceptance testing
  • Other duties as required
Master Data Governance & Notification
  • Review projects monthly with Project Managers to identify Master Data requirements (FLOC, Equipment, Maintenance creation/retirement, scheduling adjustments)
  • Support Project Managers with using FLOC and Equipment Load sheets
  • Manage scenarios where projects are canceled or require no Master Data changes
Planning & Auditing
  • Run audit reports to identify projects requiring Master Data Notifications
  • Reconcile differences between project In-service Dates and Required End Dates on master data notifications
Execution of Project Master Data Notifications
  • Create and assign Master Data Notifications based on project alignment
  • Define and manage notification tasks (FLOC, Equipment, Maintenance Plan, GIS)
  • Track task statuses
  • Add supplemental tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in data management, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Strong understanding of SAP Master Data processes and project workflows
  • Proficiency in data auditing, reporting, and dashboard tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with preventive maintenance planning and equipment lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with GIS
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs and technical drawings to support operations, maintenance, and data accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate or advanced MS Excel skills
