Cape Fox Tours is seeking an experienced Sales & Logistics Manager to join our talented team. The Sales & Logistics Manager plays a vital role in the success of Cape Fox Tours by overseeing the commercial strategy and daily ground operations for shore excursions and retail operations. This position is focused on achieving business goals through effective management of sales strategies, customer relationships, and team performance.

The annual salary range for this exempt position is: $65,000 to $75,000. The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn Key responsibilities of the Sales & Logistics Manager include overseeing daily pier side operations, leading a team of sales and retail supervisors, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The S&L Manager is also tasked with developing and implementing sales plans, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with marketing teams to promote tourism products and services.

Through these activities, they help create memorable travel experiences while fostering strong client relationships that support the objectives Cape Fox Tours. Duties and responsibilities include: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Maximize tour bookings, manage corporate and cruise-line allotments, and drive upsell opportunities.

Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, travel companies, and customers. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the tourism industry. Coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.

Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts. Manage and mentor the other customer service and retail supervisors to enhance performance and productivity. Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company.

Assist General Manager with building strong relationships within the community and with local officials, businesses, and customers. Collaborate with Cape Fox Tours General Manager to foster an operating environment that promotes and ensures consistent guest satisfaction Collaborate with the GM and other management members to create sale products, packages and schedules. Coordinate driver and pier side staff schedules for daily operations including troubleshooting any spontaneous delays, and other real-time guest demands.

Understand the flow of operations and selling points for all tour products. Responsible for day-to-day operational changes and communicating with all parties needing to know changes including staff, managers, and partners Work with staff to rectify any challenges or emergencies in a timely manner. Complete and submit settlements and other reconciliation documents at the end of day for payments Manage cash drawer openings and closings at specified locations, complete bank deposits, and proficiently operate the POS system.

Oversee inventory management of retail items including counting, organizing and transferring. Recruit and interview for retail and pier staff With Cape Fox Tours General Manager approval, process and collect all required new hire paperwork and submit to Cape Fox Human Resources upon hire.High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of five years in sales, logistics, customer service roles Previous experience in leadership preferred Previous experience in tourism operations relating to tourism, sales or hospitality is preferred Cape Fox Corporation, its subsidiaries, and affiliates provide equal employment opportunities to all persons and prohibit employment decisions on the basis of race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, political affiliation, protected veteran status, or sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
