Position Overview
Simon is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the overall performance of one of our premier retail destinations. This role is responsible for driving financial results, enhancing the customer experience, supporting leasing and marketing initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across the property.
The General Manager leads the strategy, operations, and overall performance of the center, partnering with tenants, shoppers, community stakeholders, and Simon teams to maximize asset value, deliver exceptional experiences, and drive sustainable growth.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the overall business performance of the shopping center, including revenue growth, profitability, and asset enhancement.
  • Develop and execute the property's strategic business plan to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Drive EBITDA growth through revenue generation, expense management, and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with leasing teams to support occupancy goals, tenant retention, and local leasing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, proactively addressing concerns and supporting their business success.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive traffic, increase retailer sales, and deliver engaging customer experiences.
  • Oversee property operations, maintenance, safety, security, and emergency preparedness programs.
  • Ensure exceptional property presentation, operating standards, and customer experience throughout the center.
  • Support tenant openings, construction projects, and redevelopment initiatives through collaboration with internal teams and local agencies.
  • Develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Represent the property within the community and cultivate partnerships that strengthen the center's market presence.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience within shopping centers, retail, hospitality, commercial real estate, or a related customer-focused environment.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational results.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $141,114.69. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon various factors, including an individual's skills, experience and qualifications and the geographic location of the job. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at the top end of the pay range.
