Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building Indiaโ€™s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a major global customer based in the SF Bay Area.
  • Drive and track all programs for the customer, ensuring seamless execution and business growth.
  • Meet with the customer daily to assess and address their needs related to our business and project execution.
  • Adapt quickly to various programs, learning new technologies as necessary to engage effectively across different domains.
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit (BU) in India to solve customer issues, creating clear project plans with defined timelines, ownership, and execution strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with customer points of contact (POCs), turning them into advocates for our services and funnelling more opportunities to our company.
  • Navigate the Semiconductor Assembly and Test space, leveraging a deep understanding of how leading companies organize and execute their work efforts.
  • Coordinate activity between the business unitโ€™s technical team and the customerโ€™s technical team to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Act as the liaison between the region and internal teams, minimizing communication gaps by staying close to customer needs and effectively translating them to the business units.
  • Identify and share industry and customer insights to influence internal roadmaps and product offerings.
  • Maintain and expand your network within the Semiconductor Assembly and Test industry, focusing on technical and sourcing teams among potential customers.
  • Travel up to 30% to meet customers and visit Tata factories to oversee the execution of critical programs.
  • Educational Background : Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s in an Engineering-related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience in the Semiconductor Assembly and Test industry and supply chain management.
  • Program Management Skills: Demonstrated success in managing complex programs, with a strong track record of execution.
  • Independence & Initiative: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, paired with a strong drive to achieve goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams spread across the globe.
  • Leadership Ability: Strong leadership skills to influence business units, customers, and all program stakeholders.

Qualifications: Masters in Operations a plus, Engineering/Technical undergraduate degree

Desired Experience Level: Proven experience in the EMS industry is a must.
