Job Summary

The Solutions Engineer - Google AI collaborates with account and specialty teams to assess customer cybersecurity needs. They will be a customer-facing cloud AI expert.?They will take a consultative approach to AI projects and have a holistic understanding of how?AI?technology enables business.??The Solutions Engineer will also develop and deliver new security services offerings to address customer requests/opportunities. They will represent the Google AI portfolio (Gemini Enterprise, AI Applications, Vertex AI, Data & Analytics) and will be responsible for representing future solutions developed/acquired by Google.

Role Description

  • Achieve and maintain a Tier 1 Google Partner Delivery Readiness Profile for Gemini Enterprise, AI Applications, Vertex AI, and Data & Analytics
  • Collaborate with account teams to evaluate and understand customers' AI technologies and needs.
  • Collaborate?with multiple layers of contacts within client organizations, including but not limited to CIO, CTO, IT Directors, AI Engineers, and procurement?to strengthen our overall customer relationship and better understand the goals and objectives they are trying to achieve.
  • Understand the company's services offerings in all solution practice areas?by attending company training and expanding knowledge through self-study.
  • Educate sales teams on AI solution selling and key technologies through 1x1, team, and company training.
  • Stay current on new technology, trends, and market behavior by studying market trends and the industry landscape
  • Engage in self-study and independent work in lab facilities to increase job-related knowledge and skills
  • Develop collateral to assist with AI sales engagements
  • Develop use cases and demos in the SHI lab to support sales engagements
  • Provide relevant customer-facing demos, proof-of-concept and other pre-sales functions for Google AI Solutions

Skill Level Requirements

  • Google Machine Learning Engineer, Data Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Architect, or other relevant Google Cloud certifications are highly preferred; Other AI-related Certifications are a plus
  • Deep technical expertise in Google AI services, including core Google Cloud Platform services, Google Gemini Enterprise, AI Applications, Vertex AI, BigQuery, Looker, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage technology friction during integration
  • Hands-on experience with Google AI technologies such as Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, and their integration with enterprise security solutions; exceptional client-facing and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to lead technical sales discussions, build client relationships, and align solutions with business needs
  • Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to run demos on identity security solutions.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and?follow-up?skills?
  • Initiative to research and resolve problems with a positive?attitude?
  • Exceptional?relationship-building?acumen with a passion for technology

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical Cloud/AI role
  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud/AI Pre-Sales Consulting
  • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events

Preferred Locations:

  • Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ
  • Located near a major Google office hub
  • Proximity to major airports

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
