Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | Overtime as needed


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our sign manufacturing team at Impact Signs. This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing sheet metal components used in custom signage. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced production environment.


Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional sheet metal fabrication experience (required)

  • Experience cutting, bending, forming, and assembling sheet metal

  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders

  • Proficiency with shop equipment such as press brakes, shears, saws, grinders, and hand tools

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality


Preferred Experience (Not Required)
  • Experience in sign manufacturing or architectural metal fabrication

  • Welding experience (MIG/TIG)

  • Experience working with aluminum, steel, and stainless steel

  • Familiarity with custom or short-run fabrication projects


Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate sheet metal components for custom signs and structures

  • Measure, cut, bend, and assemble materials per specifications

  • Operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

  • Collaborate with production and installation teams to meet deadlines

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly pay between $25–$30/hour, based on experience and skill level

  • Overtime paid in accordance with Utah and federal law
