Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
- Apply paint using airless spray systems and other professional painting techniques
- Work inside a large walk-in spray booth using Acrylic Polyurethane coatings
- Mix custom colors using Matthews two-part paint systems
- Paint a variety of signage products including channel letters, cabinets, monuments, ADA signage, and architectural components
- Inspect finished work to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Maintain painting tools and equipment and report any maintenance needs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Industrial Painter, Custom Painter, or similar role preferred
- Experience with spray booth painting and custom paint mixing
- Knowledge of Matthews paint systems is a plus
- Ability to safely operate power tools and painting equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Milwaukee, WI 53209
