Job Title: Custom Packaging Associate

Job Description

This temporary Custom Packaging Associate role supports a busy warehouse operation by preparing finished products for shipment, with a strong focus on relabeling and repackaging items for international customers. You will work in the re-pack area to verify product accuracy, adjust labels for different destinations, and ensure pallets are properly prepared for shipping, while collaborating closely with a small, supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the warehouse re-pack area to process finished products that have special packaging and labeling requirements.
  • Break down pallets of finished goods and organize boxes for repackaging.
  • Move boxes from pallets to work tables safely and efficiently.
  • Open boxes and verify that bottles and products match the order, invoice, paperwork, and required labeling for their destination.
  • Check that labels, including language and content, are correct for international shipments and update or change labels as needed.
  • Relabel bottles and boxes accurately, using strong object and language recognition to ensure correct identification.
  • Repack boxes neatly and securely after verification and relabeling.
  • Stack, wrap, and stage pallets so they are ready for shipment.
  • Use RF scanners to pick, pull, sort, and track products as part of the packaging and shipping process.
  • Perform general labor tasks such as loading, palletizing, and sorting products as needed.
  • Support first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory practices when handling products.
  • Assist with international shipping preparation, including correct documentation and labeling.
  • Operate a forklift if qualified, to move pallets and materials safely within the warehouse.
  • Contribute to kitting projects for major customers, including preparing kits for online and retail partners.
  • Remain on your feet for extended periods (8–10 hours) and lift heavy items consistently as part of daily tasks.
  • Collaborate with a small team, remain flexible, and help wherever needed to support overall warehouse operations.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to stand on your feet for 8–10 hours per shift in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds, including heavy bottles and boxes.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle items up to 40 pounds as part of regular duties.
  • Strong reading skills and the ability to identify objects accurately for labeling bottles and boxes.
  • Experience with loading, pulling, picking, sorting, and palletizing products in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Hands-on experience with packaging, general labor, and labeling tasks.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners for tracking inventory and processing orders.
  • Understanding of international shipping requirements, particularly for labeling and documentation.
  • Knowledge of FIFO (first-in, first-out) inventory handling practices.
  • Ability and willingness to operate a forklift, where qualified and permitted.
  • Flexibility to assist in different tasks and support team members as operational needs change.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
