It involves creating unique boxes, bags, or containers that not only protect the product but also enhance its presentation and customer experience. Custom packaging can include specialized materials, shapes, sizes, printing, and branding elements to help a business stand out in the market. Job description

Job Title: Regional Operations Coordinator โ€“ Commercial Foodservice Packaging

Company: East Pacific Supply Co.

Location: Hayward, CA (Field / Northern California)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Hybrid

About East Pacific Supply Co.

East Pacific Supply Co. has been a trusted leader in commercial packaging and foodservice manufacturing for over 30 years. Known for domestically manufacturing custom-printed packaging and chopstick sleeves, we serve commercial kitchens, restaurant groups, and foodservice operators across California.

Backed by local Hayward warehouse inventory, custom production capabilities, and an integrated digital ordering platform, we provide custom packaging solutions alongside a full distribution catalog to help operators streamline supply chain operations.

Role Overview

As a Regional Operations Coordinator, you will drive field growth across Northern California by opening new commercial accounts, introducing operators to our custom branding and distribution depth, and onboarding clients onto our digital ordering portal.

100% Full Compensation & Earnings Transparency

This is an Exempt W-2 Regional Operations Coordinator position operating on 100% Top-Line Commission. There is no base salary, but you receive direct payouts on every collected invoice dollar, fully backed by standard legal expense reimbursements.

  • Upfront Digital Onboarding Bonus: 3.5% on total top-line invoice revenue for the first paid order when you close and onboard a client onto our web/app portal.
  • 12-Month Recurring Residuals: 2.5% monthly residual on all recurring re-orders placed during the accountโ€™s first 12 months.
  • Full Expense Reimbursement: Paid at the standard IRS Business Mileage Rate for all field travel between client sites (covering fuel, wear-and-tear, and vehicle operation).
  • Sample & Sales Backing: 100% company-funded physical product sample kits, custom-print proofs, and digital collateral.
  • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance are not provided for this role.

Uncapped Account Earnings: Real Examples

There is no ceiling on account size or payout. Closing larger accounts directly multiplies your recurring monthly checks:

  • Typical Retailer ($4,000/mo volume): Pays $140 upfront + $100/mo recurring residual ($1,200/yr).
  • 5-Location Local Chain ($25,000/mo volume): Pays $875 upfront + $625/mo recurring residual ($7,500/yr).
  • Regional Group / Sub-Distributor ($100,000/mo volume): Pays $3,500 upfront + $2,500/mo recurring residual ($30,000/yr) from a single account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Prospecting: Conduct face-to-face sales calls with restaurant owners, multi-unit operators, commercial kitchens, and venue buyers across Northern California.
  • Digital Onboarding: Guide clients through setup on our mobile app or web portal for automated re-ordering.
  • Account Portfolio Management: Monitor re-order patterns ($3kโ€“$5k+/mo target volume per retail account) and follow up proactively to maintain monthly residual income.
  • Active Field Presence: Spend more than 50% of working time active in the field meeting with buyers.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ Years B2B Sales Experience: Proven track record in commercial packaging, foodservice distribution, beverage/food supply, or jan/san supplies.
  • Active Operator Network: Pre-existing, active relationships with Bay Area restaurant owners, hospitality groups, or commercial food buyers is required.
  • Self-Driven Portfolio Builder: Motivated by building a long-term, high-earning recurring commission portfolio.
  • Field Mobility: Valid CA driverโ€™s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
