Job Description
Summary:
Raging Bull Harley-Davidson is seeking a Certified Motorcycle Technician to join our team of passionate professionals. This role requires a strong background in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, along with up-to-date factory certifications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform factory-authorized maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Harley-Davidson motorcycles and related products
  • Troubleshoot and repair engines, electrical systems, suspensions, transmissions, and drivetrains in accordance with H-D factory standards
  • Complete performance tuning, custom upgrades, and accessory installations with expert-level precision
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure motorcycles meet Harley-Davidson factory specifications and safety requirements
  • Execute warranty, recall, and customer-pay repairs per Harley-Davidson guidelines, ensuring proper documentation and quality standards
  • Accurately document all work performed using the dealership's repair order system
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment
  • Collaborate effectively with service advisors and the parts department to ensure timely and efficient job completion
  • Stay current with Harley-Davidson factory training, technical bulletins, and new model releases

Qualifications
  • Graduate of MMI (Motorcycle Mechanics Institute), UTI motorcycle program, or equivalent formal motorcycle technician training
  • Professional experience as a motorcycle technician; Harley-Davidson experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs independently in accordance with Harley-Davidson standards
  • Valid motorcycle endorsement on driver's license
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screening
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current Harley-Davidson factory certifications (e.g., Bronze, Silver, or higher)
  • Experience with performance upgrades, Dyno tuning, and custom builds
  • Familiarity with dealership service systems and electronic repair order software

Additional Information
Compensation: Flat Rate (Paid per Flagged Hour)
  • Annual compensation ranges from $75,000 to $125,000+
    • Depending on experience, certifications, and flag hours
  • Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified technicians
  • Flat rate bonus paid annually based on hours turned and tenure*
