What is a custodial account manager?

A Custodial Account Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing and managing custodial accounts, which are financial accounts held in the name of a custodian for the benefit of a minor or another individual. They ensure all transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements, maintain accurate records, and provide account reporting to clients. Custodial Account Managers may also work with clients to recommend account strategies, process asset transfers, and resolve any issues related to the accounts. Their role is essential in safeguarding the assets and ensuring fiduciary responsibilities are met.

How does a custodial account manager typically collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless account operations?

Custodial Account Managers frequently work cross-functionally with teams such as operations, compliance, and client services to maintain accurate account records and resolve any issues efficiently.
