Job description

IT Curriculum Developer
The Opportunity:
Assist in the implementation of emergent Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) training capabilities. Assist with training development functions and analysis of Department of Defense (DoD) and Joint training publications to identify potential revisions needed to legacy curriculum material. Work with key stakeholders to ensure training initiatives are embedded across institutional, operational, and self-development domains. Execute the implementation of training strategies and learning concepts. Collaborate with military and civilian stakeholders, technical experts, and operational colleagues. Build critical training materials for advanced learners who are motivated to grow their skills. Be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team producing highly sophisticated, technical, and hands-on training solutions to meet the mission and time-critical needs of our client. Utilize your operational experience to foster a team environment of learning, progress, and excellence and help us build the next generation of C5I experts.
You Have:
  • 1+ years of experience afloat as an Information Systems Technician
  • 1+ years of experience as a Curriculum Developer
  • Experience creating performance-based technical training, including practical applications and assessments to measure trainee performance and knowledge retention
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) to develop, update, manage, and integrate training content
  • Knowledge of communicating with civilian and military personnel, including verbal briefings or presentations, listening techniques, and developing written material such as technical reports documenting research and analysis performed
  • Knowledge of DoD and Navy guidance documents used in the development of task-based curriculum
  • Knowledge of learning tools, modalities, and selecting teaching methods appropriate for course audience
  • Knowledge of measurement tools or methods used to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
